The Crease – IN or OUT
When batting, be aware that you risk being stumped or run-out if your bat or body is not grounded beyond the crease when the ball is in play. The crease is the white line in front of the stumps.
It is said that “the line belongs to the umpire”. Even with the new video technology as the 3rd umpire, “On the line is OUT” The batsman must move beyond the crease to be in.
